DIRECTIONS: See the www.usrpa.org High Power page for a map. Follow 100 South in Centerville east up canyon. At the first "TEE" in the road, go south. Follow this up to the next "TEE", go north. Follow this through the gate to the range.

1. Any Center Fire Military Bolt Action Service Rifle. Any Country, As Issued for WWII or earlier. (See Sights)
2. Any Caliber, Center Fire Standard Barrel Weight Bolt Action Hunting Rifle. (See Sights)
NO VARMINT RIFLES. NO SEMI AUTOS
AWARDS: Champions to receive plaques immediately after the Match.
1. Military Bolt Action Rifle Champion.
2. Open Sight Hunting Rifle Champion.
3. Junior Bolt Action Rifle Champion.
*Sporterized Military Rifles fire in the Hunting Rifle Category
SIGHTS: Must be standard issue Not micrometer adjustable. No globe type front sights. For hunting classification, front sight may be hooded, but must be post or bead.
INSPECTIONS: Rifles of the winning shooters will be inspected after the match to ensure they comply with the "as-issued" rule. i.e. No glass bedding on military rifles, and sights conform to rules.
RULES and COURSE OF FIRE
ALL GENERAL FIREARM SAFETY GUIDELINES WILL BE STRICTLY ENFORCED.
You will need to bring 60 rounds of ammunition.
If requested in advance, The Match Director will have available 30-06 (M2 ball) at $6.00 per 20 rounds.
All firing will be from the 200-yard line on the NRA High Power SR target.
All firing will be from the shoulder, unsupported. (No Sandbags or Rests).
Rifle slings are allowed except during the standing phase.
Open Bolt Indicators are required (Available at range for $1.00)
All competitors will be required to SCORE and PULL TARGETS for their fellow competitors.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany competitors under 16.
RULES: This match will be patterned after the Civiliam Marksmanship Program's John C. Garand Match, with the restriction to only allow bolt action rifles, and the addition of any country of origin of issue for the rifles. The rules that govern the Garand Match are found in the current CMP Competition Rules. There will be 5 additional sighter shots allowed. The Garand Match course of fire is described in Rule 5-6, Table 5-6. Rules for firing procedures are found in both the current NRA HIGH POWER RIFLE and CMP Competition Rules. All rifles must have original factory or as issued open (iron) sights with front posts installed and used. No Scopes or micrometer type target sights are allowed. No globe type front sights are allowed.
OTHER EQUIPMENT: Cloth, canvas and leather shooting jackets are permitted. Standard issue web and leather slings or slings of the same type are permitted. Shooting gloves or mitts and ground cloths or shooting matts may be used.
SAFETY EQUIPMENT: All competitors and range personel are urged to bring hearing and eye protection with them and to wear them whenever shooting takes place.
COURSE OF FIRE: 60 rounds total, 10 sighters and 50 rounds for record, fired at the 200 yard line.
ALIBIS: No alibis or refires because of ammunition or rifle malfunctions will be allowed during any stage of this match.
